Winnie and Jiggs – still in love…

Winnie: We had a great Christmas and got Lots of Toys!
Jiggs: Thanks Titia, Daddy, and Grandma!

Jiggs: I hope Santa brings us lots of toys! We have been good all year…
Winnie: I would be happy with more cookies…
Winnie: I can’t believe it’s Halloween again! Already!

Jiggs: I’m Spiderman!
Look how cute Winnie is as Queen Bee – her costume says it all – she is the Queen Bee around here…
Winnie: Happy Halloween!
Jiggs: How many treats do ya think we’ll get this time?

I can barely stand this – it smells too good.

Look at the gifts I got! It’s because I am Such a Good Girl!

Um, when are you going to release us?

Another great birthday!

Jiggs: Quimby was dumped and left to die on Quimby road in San Jose. Mom’s co-worker rescued him and brought him to work. Naturally Mom said “We’ll foster him.” Quimby moved in with us in March 2013. He’s still here.
Winnie: At first Mom thought Quimby could not stay since bunnies and staffies don’t always make good friends, but we knew it would just take some time and adjustment. It took lots of time and Mom read lots of stories on the In-ter-net about “introductions.” Here is a picture of Jiggs during an “introduction.”

Jiggs: Quimby looks like one of the cats but his ears are big like mine. I’d like to be friends… and 14 months later, yep, Quimby is my friend.

Winnie: We are not allowed to play with Quimby. Mom says he is “too delicate.” But, he and I get along just fine. Under supervision. I just don’t like it when Quimby poops in my bed. That’s not very nice.
Jiggs: Moral of the story: Yes, bunnies and staffies can live peacefully together under the right circumstances and proper supervision. So much for fostering Quimby… he’s part of our family now.

Winnie: Mama make a cake for Jiggs – it has coconut, peanut butter, and bananas.

Jiggs: Now?
Winnie: Jiggs shares everything with me. Even his birthday gift. Happy Birthday boyfriend!

With Love,They say that boy-dogs bond with women, and girl-dogs bond with men. It certainly seems to be the case at our house…

Winnie: I have him wrapped around my little paw…
